Further innovation took place at the Regular Meeting of Lodge Cadder Argyle on 7th May 2009. The Temple was filled to capacity with an attendance not seen since the days of the Installation meetings of the early nineties. The reason for this was that an invitation had been extended to the Masters of some of the Lodges in fraternal accord with Cadder Argyle to take part in conferring an Entered Apprentice Degree. So keen were the Masters to take part, that fourteen of them accepted the invitation to perform part of the ceremony. Two other Masters attended to witness the event. The Provincial Grand Master of Dunbartonshire was also invited to attend, and he readily accepted the invitation, welcoming the representatives of four other Provinces into Dunbartonshire for this special event.

Several Masters of Cadder Argyle have, in previous years, participated in similar ceremonies in neighbouring Lodges, but this was the first time that a ceremony of this nature had been organised here.
