| Masters Chain |
| The Meeting of 1st September 2005 proved to be another special occasion for the Master, Brother John Mackie, as he receives on behalf of the Lodge a Master’s Chain of Office presented by Brother Bert Alcorn, Past Master of Lodge Murdostoun Castle No. 1096 and Honorary Member of Lodge Cadder Argyle.
The Brethren had been aware for some time that Brother Alcorn had intended to make this presentation during John’s term of office. It was however a pleasant surprise for the Brethren that Bert chose this occasion, the first Meeting after the summer recess.
The Degree Ceremony at this Meeting was an Entered Apprentice Degree carried out by Lodge Robert Burns 440.

The remainder of the office-bearers regalia is also being renewed, and it is hoped that it will be formally dedicated by the Provincial Grand Lodge of Dunbartonshire at a Meeting later in the year.
