Pictured to the right carrying out one of his first duties on vacating the Chair as Master of Lodge Cadder Argyle No. 147, David McKerral presents a cheque for £2250.00 to Past Provincial Grand Master Ian Smith in aid of the Provincial Grand Master’s CHAS Appeal. Also present in the photograph are Finlay Campbell, Secretary; John Mackie and Jim Cowan, Wardens; David Seggie, Master; and Jim Anderson, Treasurer.
All 21 Lodges in Dunbartonshire have taken part in various fundraising ventures, and it is expected that a sum in excess of £25,000.00 will be presented by the Provincial Grand Master to the Children’s Hospice Association Scotland some time early in 2004.
Lodge Cadder Argyle have also made donations this year to the following:
Chryston and District OAP Association, Chryston Bowling Club Cancer Whist, Moodiesburn and District Pipe Band, Chryston Boys’ Brigade, Chryston Girl Guide Association, Chryston and District Horticultural Society, Northern Corridor Befriending Project, Royal National Mission for Deep Sea Fishermen, Earl Haig Fund.
