I am delighted to have been elected and Installed as Master in this fine old Lodge, now in its 231st year since being Chartered in 1778. I am pleased to be able to congratulate my predecessor in office, Brother Charles Blades, on chairing the Lodge through a very successful year.
Details of the events which took place throughout the year can be found in the ‘News and Events’ section.
Unfortunately last year saw a slight drop in attendances at Regular Meetings. Social events were very successful, however, with good turnouts at the Race Night, Charity events and Official Lodge functions.

As mentioned earlier, attendances at Meetings are decreasing, and I hope that with a full syllabus this year we will be able to reverse this trend. If you are a Lodge 147 Member or a potential visiting Brother, please take a look at the Syllabus and make an effort to attend. You will be made most welcome.
